Well I am up 1.6pouds, bummer!! I knew I would be after last week and dealing with a kidney stone this week. BUT it is ok! I am going to try harder with what I am eating, track my food intake, and get back to working out!!!
I can't let this get me down!!! Weight is a daily battle but I MUST take it ONE day at a time!

How long will it REALLY take?
When it comes to picking up our home, I ask myself that questions 1000 times a day! I am a messy person at heart. Last year John and I were talking with my sister and Simo (a family friend who is like my other mother or aunt), we were discussing our love languages. For the LONGEST time I had NO idea what John's love language was until that night. We came to the conclusion that John's love language is "acts of service" [Can vacuuming the floors really be an expression of love? Absolutely! Anything you do to ease the burden of responsibilities weighing on an “Acts of Service” person will speak volumes. The words he or she most want to hear: “Let me do that for you.” Laziness, broken commitments, and making more work for them tell speakers of this language their feelings don’t matter.] and we all know mine is of course "words of affirmation" [Actions don’t always speak louder than words. If this is your love language, unsolicited compliments mean the world to you. Hearing the words, “I love you,” are important—hearing the reasons behind that love sends your spirits skyward. Insults can leave you shattered and are not easily forgotten.]
[the 5 love languages]
With knowing this I now understand how to love my husband and that is how I knew that keeping a clean home could help me show how much I love him!
People keep asking me how do I do it all? Well I am ADD so I am GREAT at doing 100 things at a time AND I like to do things fast! I "studied" the Fly Lady.com's method and found her methods help me the best. She asks all the time, "How long will that take?" or "You can do anything for seven minutes" and that is where I started. For the next several Saturday's I will share with yall my "Schedules" and tips and tricks to show yall how I can manage a picked up home on top of everything else!!
TODAY'S Schedule
My 45min MAX to a clean Upstairs!
at 9:45 is when Henry gets fussy and ready for his morning nap and this is when the Bigs will start their "morning play station" and I will have NickJr on in the background. (those two activities, for the most part keep them busy enough where they don't "need" me)
9:45- Put Henry down, put away his clean clothes, quickly get his dirty clothes, straighted up his pillows and rug, and gather his trash
9:50- Place all that in the "to take down stairs" basket
9:52- Go in the Bunk room. Turn ON the lamp and turn OFF the overhead light (I loath ceiling lights)Straighten their beds, gather sippy cups and dirty clothes, put books on the shelves, put toys in the bin, and pick up any trash
9:57- Place all that in the "to take down stairs" basket
10:00- Close Boys Bathroom shower curtain and put any trash in the trashcan
10:03- Master bathroom, turn ON the lamp and turn OFF the overhead light, light the candle. Straighten and put away counter items, straighted the floor rugs, put any trash in the trashcan, gather the dirty clothes and cups, Place all that in the "to take down stairs" basket.
10:10- Gather and place shoes in the closet.
10:12- Make bed
10:16- Pick up any trash, Place all that in the "to take down stairs" basket
10:20- Put away the Boys clothes that are clean and folded in the hall
10:23- Take down "to take down stairs" basket
10:24- Load and start washer, load and start dryer, place clean clothes basket in the master
10:26- Load and start dishwasher and wipe down counter
10:30- Time to start Yocum ISD
Whew, It seems like a lot, it IS a lot, but it does NOT take long and for the REST of the day you do not have to think about the upstairs!!! This allows me to enjoy my Yocum ISD time and not think about "all I have to do" bc the kitchen is clean, laundry is started, and the upstairs is picked up!
Next Saturday I will go over my "daily chore"....I do ONE a day!

Quick Lunch
Quick Lunches!
AKA
"No Plate" Lunch
*this also helps teach them (and me) to eat let them eat any part of their lunch when they want to DURING lunch time. I do not care what they eat first or last and most of the time they eat ALMOST ALL their lunch!!

Weigh-In
Only down 1/2 a pound BUT last week was a week were I "needed" french bread and chocolate!! I must say I feel like I look better even though the scale is not showing it. I keep reminding myself what my coach, Kelly, tells me that sometimes your inches will show your loss over the scale! And that is what I think today feels like. Either way I will take any loss! Ha!!! But let's hope the extra bread and sweets won't show their ugly head on the scale in two weeks! How was your week??
